Welcome to my world and love for living a healthy active lifestyle!
If you’re new to my website, then I guess you’d like to know a little bit about me before we meet in person.A Previous LifeI was born in NSW then moved to the Sunshine Coast when I was 19 years old. I then fell in love with the excitement and energy of a fit and healthy lifestyle. Which was fairly new to me at the time. Fitness and health took over my life and all of a sudden I find myself inspired by Surf Life Saving, Triathlon and hitting the gym most days. Needless to say, this is where my fascination for the human body started so I decided to knuckle down and try to get into the University of Queensland to study Physiotherapy. I got there in 1998.

My Career Starts

Once I’d made it though uni in one piece, my first private practice physio role was in south west rural Queensland in 2002. A unique life experience, I had the opportunity to travel around much of south west Queensland supporting rural and remote communities. I co-owned several practices in the region and developed those into multidisciplinary allied health practices to further support the health needs of those communities. I also enjoyed my role with country rugby union and the Roma Enchidnas rugby union club.

Work life balance near the ocean

After almost a decade out west, I found myself drawn to the coast lifestyle again and decided to move back here, this time calling Mudjimba home. Not long after moving back here I established my home based physio clinic and Ian Robinson Physio in Mudjimba was born. Back to my much loved and missed healthy coast lifestyle.

My Personal Life

I’m the adoptive dad to two of the most amazing furry personalities in the world, Syd and Tilly. I love these two fur bags. They help keep me fit as I still train for the odd triathlon, cut laps of the pool & frequent my local gym as much as possible. I love motor sport, driving quality cars and sharing fun times & fine food with friends.
